Welcome! I'm Shannon, a Marty McFly cosplayer living in the Pacific Northwest.I first put my Marty cosplay together in 2013, and in 2015 I got involved with Team Fox, the grassroots fundraising division of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. I travel across the country to conventions and events using my cosplay to raise funds and awareness for a cure.Over the years I've made appearances in various Back to the Future documentaries and have had the privilege of meeting the cast and crew from the movies. My Marty outfit is comprised of both real vintage pieces painstakingly sourced over the years and faithful replicas to what is seen on-screen. In 2019 Michael J. Fox himself asked to sign my vest in recognition of the volunteer work done for his Foundation.The Michael J. Fox Foundation is the leader in funding important research for Parkinson's disease with over two billion dollars raised to date. 100% of the proceeds raised by Team Fox members goes directly to funding further research and scientific studies to make Parkinson's disease a thing of the past.To date I've raised over $10,000 for Parkinson's research.As seen in:➠ Reelz Behind Closed Doors: Back to the Future
